Wet-blocking a Meadow throw. Pinned flat for two days before it's measured again.

Made by hand

Four days, two hands, no shortcuts.

Nothing here is machine-knit and finished by hand — it's crocheted from the first chain to the last, which is why the collection is small and the wait is real.

  1. 01

    Choose the fibre

British wool, alpaca and organic cotton from three mills we've visited. Undyed at source.

  2. 02

    Dye in small batches

Six skeins at a time in the garden studio. Colour shifts a little between lots — that's the point.

  3. 03

    Crochet by hand

A throw runs to roughly 34 hours across four days. Tension is checked against a swatch every evening.

  4. 04

    Block and finish

Wet-blocked, pinned, dried flat, labelled by hand and packed in paper. No plastic in the box.

In their homes

What people say after a winter.

The throw is the single nicest thing in our house. Three winters in and it hasn't pilled once.
Priya N. · Bristol
I ordered the cardigan a size up and Sam re-blocked it for me without being asked. That's the whole business in one sentence.
Marta L. · Lisbon
You can feel the hours in it. Nothing about it feels like it came off a shelf.

How long until it arrives?
Everything is made to order. Most pieces ship within 2–3 weeks; throws and blankets take 3–4. You'll get a photo of your piece before it's boxed.
What yarn do you use?
British wool, alpaca and organic cotton, bought undyed and dyed here in six-skein lots. No acrylic, ever.
Can I ask for a different colour or size?
Yes. Most pieces can be resized, and anything in the current palette can be dyed to order. Email before you buy and we'll talk it through.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash cool with a wool detergent, press the water out in a towel, then dry flat. Never wring, never hang. A care card ships with every order.
Do you ship internationally?
Worldwide, in plastic-free packaging. Shipping is free over $120. Duties outside the UK are the buyer's responsibility.
